In order to best meet the needs of our residents, we strongly recommend monetary donations. This gives the Home the greatest flexibility to make sure your donation goes directly to the needs of our veterans.
All direct donations are considered tax-deductible on your federal tax return as defined in US Code, Title 26, and on your State tax return as defined in Delaware Code, Title 30.
Offers a meaningful way to honor a military service member with a personalized engraved brick. This brick will be proudly displayed among the flags at the Delaware Veterans Home, serving as a lasting tribute.

The Friends of the Delaware Veterans Home is an independent 501(c) 3 non-profit organization that raises funds primarily to support larger projects. The Friends have made projects like the building of our outdoor pavilion and fishing pier a reality.
Our Donation Tree is comprised of engraved bronze, silver, and gold leaves denoting a graduating level of financial contribution. The leaves capture a brief message given in memory or in honor of a veteran or from a donating organization.
