The Delaware Office of Veterans Services (OVS), an esteemed agency of the Delaware Department of Veterans Affairs (DDVA), is dedicated to supporting veterans living in the First State and their families. Their mission is to ensure that veterans have access to the services and benefits they have earned through their military service. This includes assistance with disability compensation, employment opportunities, supportive housing, and various other forms of housing assistance.
If you’ve been discharged from military service, your personnel files are stored here at the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA).
The Delaware Joining Forces (DJF) network is called upon to provide solutions that improve the quality of life and welfare of the statewide military community. It offers education opportunities and rehabilitation services and provides compensation payments for disabilities or death related to military service, home loan guaranties, pensions, burials, and health care that includes the services of nursing homes, clinics, and medical centers.
The National Association of State Veterans Homes’ primary mission is to promote and enhance the quality of care and life of Veterans and families in the State Veterans homes through education, networking, and advocacy.
